Welcome to our latest sale which is packed full of interesting and unusual material.
This sale features part 4 of the colossal “Trent” collection of British Empire mint postage stamps that was built up over a lifetime of methodical and disciplined collecting, buying only and every stamp in the mint condition.
I recently gave a talk at Poynton Philatelic Society on the aspects of preparing your collection for sale and advising on how to look after your collection – if you would like me to give a similar talk at your society please contact me (distance permitting!).

CEYLON with QV classics and high values.
FALKLAND ISLANDS noting the iconic 1933 centenary set and QV issues.
GREAT BRITAIN with mint QV and QEII errors and varieties.
AUSTRALIA with kangaroo high values overprinted specimen and a fine lot of early postage dues.
POSTCARDS – A fascinating lot that was collected by a seaman whilst travelling to the Far East 1928/35.
SPAIN – Private souvenir sheets issued in the 1930’s with many fine lots (see section).
This is a quick snapshot with what’s on offer this month.
We are gearing up for Stampex and other exhibitions – I will be in Scotland for Scotex later this year.
