Welcome to our December sale which we have tried to get to you as early as possible. Please note successful purchases should be with you prior to us closing our office on Friday 21st December. The office will reopen in Wednesday 2nd January 2019 and we will be ready for yet another exciting Philatelic year ahead.

We have been very busy travelling up and down the UK obtaining interesting material for this sale.

Highlights this month include:

ISLE OF MAN – extensive postal history selection from early pre stamp mails to studies of town/village postmarks and also good groups of internment camps with censorship.

FALKLAND ISLANDS – KGVI map issues for the dependencies with specialised studies, plate varieties & blocks.

AUSTRIA – quality collection suitably broken down that features all the key commemorative sets with much fine used.

SOUTH AFRICA – most interesting selection of cancellations & inter-provisional usages.

CANCELLATIONS OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE – fabulous lot offered by countries with some amazing handpicked postmarks on old stamps noting good selections of Australia (by state), British Africa & many more.

This is just a quick overview of what’s in the December sale.

Our diary shows that over the coming month’s you can find us at the York stamp fair in January (This should be on every collectors calendar) and Liverpool during early February 19, this is super show where we meet many local collectors.

I have regional visits to Chelmsford and Harrogate already pencilled in. If you wish me to visit you please contact the office.

Wishing you all the best,

Simon, Chris, Dennise & Denise at Philangles.
